I have a Buck 119 100 year commemorative knife. A freind of mine offered me $50 for it. (my ex wife bought it so I am not attached emotionally to it)It is still brand new with the Black etching on the blade, Can anyone give me a tip as to how much of an offer I should take?? Much appreciated..Bladerunner28

Which one is it? Is it the Standard 119 with the blade etch or the one with the 100 year cut out in the blade and palm wood handle? There may other variations ,but those are the two I'm familiar with.

hi; just like guy g said, it depends on which variation it is. walmart has one for $39.50! you should really find out which one it is. take care and god bless

Thanks a lotfor your help..I didn't even think to go to wal mart or any other store..Just lazy I guess.I searched the crap out of the internet though..Thanks again..Bladerunner28

if you give a tad more description I think folks will be able to help you value the knife. We did our standard 119 with a black centennial blade etch as well as a 119 with "100" lasered out of the blade and then selectively gold plated. The handle was Palm Wood, black leather sheath, serialized packaged in one of our brown limited edition boxes.

Which was it?

Thanks for your reply. The one that I have has the standard Black handle and the etching on the side is gold in color..Has lapel pin.Warrantee etc. I love the knife, just not my ex..I'm going to buy a Buck 112 with the $$ after I sell it to my buddy. Thanks again, Bladerunner28
