Buck 119 castle nut ?

I've searched through the posts and haven't seen anything like this. Can anyone tell me if buck made the early knives with this type of attachment. The 119 in picture has the castle nut.

Referred to as a Barrel Nut, feature of early Buck Knives.

1961-63 or early 64.

In my notes it was May of 1963 that Buck began to pin the handle through the pommel. DM

skylercstevens , very good photo. You're correct in no 121 in the photo. My 105 barrel nut has the smooth snap sheath w/ no 'Buck'.
So, I think the 'Buck snap' sheath started in 1963. DM
