Buck 119 Cocobolo Prices

With the release of the 75th Anniversary 119 knives last year it seems like the prices on the Cocobolo 119 have been pretty high. I remember them costing around $50 for the Black Phenolic and around $65 for the Cocobolo, but recently the Cocobolo has been selling for about $99. I'm newer to the 119, so I don't know if this is a normal price?

Does anyone know what the usual price for a Cocobolo is?

If your looking on eBay IMO about 95% of the Buck knives are over priced. I’ve been watching some 124’s over the past couple of months that people think are solid gold.

all prices have gone up on all buck knives somewhat. I didn't see it said as such, but seems a map pricing or something of that sort came into effect. I'd say a price increase but seems most dealers have gotten in line for the most part on price with each other. there are exceptions of course and sales and things of that nature.

I noticed the 110 at Wally's has gone up $7

You will see more of this trend as Buck initiates it's MAP pricing. CJ spoke about this at the BCCI 30th get together at their plant.

When CJ explained why they are doing this it really does make since. I just hope it works out for them in the long run.

I understand the map pricing from dealers. I was referring to eBay sales.

Don't you know? Everything on ebay is rare, vintage, hard to find, 1 of 1, and worth more than it's weight in Gold...Regardless what it is.... Especially my stuff....
