119 BUCK* 1967
119 BUCK/USA micarta spacers 1969-1972 (if the spacers are fiber then 1967 to 1969)
Kalinga 3 line upright about 1973 to 1981/2 when the handles changed to dymondwood

The Kalinga (401) does not follow as normal a pattern as the 100 series knives. The run down: your knife having fine grain micarta is likely 1974-81. ( I'll give a maybe 1973) Red pakkawod began in 81. The 1973 models had maroon micarta & black. Maroon being more common for that year.
I have seen and held a 2 line Kalinga's 1969-70 with black fine grain micarta. Open grain black micarta models are 1970-72 with a 3 line stamp. This model the 402 Akonua and Empress Trio followed this similar pattern. Notice the stamp is on the left side whereas the 'normal 100 series' knives were stamped on the right. Except the 107. It followed a different pattern as well. DM
