The pictures of the shooter (college murder) are on MSNBC tonight and the killer is shown holding a Buck Model 119 to his own throat, and holding in a back hand stance.....not a good picture for us peacefuk knife collectors....

Someone else mentioned a Buck 119 in a TV series this week...Do they actually show the Buck name in either of these instances???

Just as the 110 is widely copied, so is the 119...I think TLC posted that a 119 clone can be had for $20 IIRC...

Have you noticed that when a car plows through a storefront, the newscasters never give the make of the car??? But let someone shoot 32 college students, and the name "Glock" is in every newspaper... :(

A sad commentary on life as it is these days. There was once a more simpler time.......

I posted only as FYI and will not be posting anymore regarding this tragic loss of so many innocents. Maybe I come to this forum to bury my head in the sand from the insanity and bustle that is around. Here I find good Brothers and friendship in a busy, and sometimes, terrible world. Life is beautiful and precious...God bless those that go before me to meet the Lord and His peace. Bless the families and friends of those grown up children, young adults, and those that were teaching them. God have mercy and compassion on the souls of those innocent and bless us that are here to make this world a better place for each other during our stay.

Dat' would be me, and yes, in the close up of him holding the knife to a fake cops neck, you can actually see "BUCK" on the tang for a second.

Buck knives have been used by many a tv producer, especially the 119. I doubt if Buck is proud of any of these renderings.

I missed the show...was it any good??? About the only current TV shows I watch regularly are L&O: CI; NCIS; and reruns of CSI: Miami...sometimes The Unit...(it conflicts with L&O:CI)...I'm afraid Yankee baseball takes priority over fantasy... :) (with the Mets & Braves taking second place)... :D

Just wanted everyone to read this message from Goose again.

It's actually not a bad program Trax. I have a cable recorder so I actually end up recording it and watching it later on while the wife is at work. I do the same with The Unit.
