Hey guys, I just wanted to share a couple pictures with you. This sheath has been a long time coming. I'm a lefty and suffer from fixed blades with right handed sheaths. I made a crude lefty sheath for this guy a couple years ago and was never happy with it. So, tonight I decided to remedy this problem with some fresh new pants. I basically took the original sheath and traced it onto so thick veg-tanned leather for a mirror image to give me a lefty pattern. I added a little embellishment with some basket weave stamping. I still need to sew on the belt loop and stitch everything together but so far I'm happy with the progress. Hope you likey

Wow! That is really nice.

I sometimes like to carry a fixed blade on my right side with a left hand sheath. The reason is that on the draw the sharp edge comes out on top. Very useful, sometimes.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's finished up and ready for some woods adventures. It's stitched up and sealed. I'm pretty happy with this one. I'll actually carry this one now that it has a suitable lefty sheath.
