Hey guys, I had to do a little work to my 119. I was just never fully satisfied with it, plus my lefty sheath I made was cheap leather and really kinda sucked. So I ground the back portion of the finger gaurd flush with the back of the blade for better hand control. Then I taped up the blade and bead blasted the handle. I am very happy with the satin finish now. The sheath is made from an old tool belt. Super thick leather. I had to wet form it in order for it to work but it turned out awesome. Hope you like!

Looks awesome to me. I like how you ground the guard down. Now I have to figure how to make a cross draw style out of it.
This way it will work when I am in my power wheelchair.
great job again.

Well, I just did the fold over the top loop for vertical carry. For a cross draw with this type of sheath I would just cut another peice of leather to go on the back and stich it on each side while putting the whole sheath together. Leave the top and bottom open and you can run you belt through that way. :)

Looks like a great user now, I have thought about doing the same to a guard...Nice even stitching on your sheath too! I like it!

Great job! I'm a lefty too, so I've had to learn how to make my own sheaths, always enjoy seeing someone else's ideas. I really like how you ground off the top part of the guard. Looks like it would be very comfortable to work with.

Thanks guys. I feel like I will use this knife a lot more now due to the changes. And this sheath should last forever. The belt was about 1/4 inch thick
