Well, that was a dumb show! The 119 got tossed at a wooden chair - just like in the teaser - that was it. I don't believe I have tossed a knife since my college days, when my Dad's old WWII USN KaBar went flying towards my dorm door, which I had just found out I was going to have to buy anyway due to the drunks' fight in the hall breaking it in the night before. Sadly, a friend from down the hall was opening it as the knife hit - and passed through to the hilt - at his saucer-sized eye level. That was close - and the end of my misplaced aggressions/anger. It was '68... Auburn U... just months before my new government 'job offer', which I couldn't refuse.
Still, a silly show.
I always think of Goren & Eames, in "L&O:CI", as 'Penn & Teller' wannabe's. I like seeing Chris Noth - and his pardner de jour - alternating on that show, too. The original "L.&O." was a hard act to follow. The latest variant - without Dennis Farina - but with Fred Thompson - is decent, too. Guess Fred has other plans for employment now...
I wonder if Buck had to pay for the use/display of their product, the 119 on 'Chuck', since it's name wasn't readily apparent?
