Buck 119 rare factory sheath or what?

Looking at the second picture it just looks like someone trimmed back a standard 119 sheath then formed a loop (perhaps with some of the trimmed leather) and rivited it to the back of the sheath.
 
That is a 1980 model 119 in the sheath. That IS the correct sheath for that time frame. I have that model. Mine has 2 rivets in the belt loop. Thus it does not swivel. But that sheath came both ways, swivel and non-swivel. DM
 
My model 120 of that year came with a flap over sheath. So, those were still being used. But I have 124 with that swivel sheath. DM
 
The swivel sheath is one that I like. Here is some that I have.

These are some older pictures of them that I have, when I get to spend some time at home I will have to start taking some more pictures of them and what else that I have been acquiring. HL
