Buck 119 Sheath

I got my sheath for my 119 the other day and have been busy and wasn't able to make this thread. I just wanna say that this sheath is awesome! If you have a 119 looking for a new sheath deffinatly get the leather one, its awesome, not that the nylon one may be good and nice I heard its rather noisy which you don't want when you hunt. I'll post pics of it later

Well Zach,I'll chum in here with you. Did you get the flap over sheath or the snoopy style? I like them both for different reasons. The flap over protects the entire handle and when you deploy the knife the keeper flap is out of the way.The snoopy style holds the knife secure as well and alittle more quiet.However,I've cut its keeper straps when drawing the knife.So, when hunting and I'm using the flap over, I just stuff some cloth around the blade.Which keeps it nice and quiet.DM

Zach, Its the newer, swivel, snoopy type.Open the keeper strap and you'll see snoopy the dogs profile.Thanks for sharing the pictures.DM
