Today on the Sunday Picture Show someone posted a 119 with an etched blade and no bloodgrooves.
I have only seen one other 119 with no grooves in the blade . If I recall correctly it was a partial chipflint blade.
Does anyone know how many different examples of 119's were manufactured without bloodgrooves?

Here is a photo of the chippy 119.

All of the 119's that were made with no blood groove were SO's or LE's. I remember one that was for the Fire fighters from 911 with no blood groove.

The 119 centennial has no blood groove too.

Here's a picture from the build out from the 911 119.

And one more with a cut out and no groove ...

Haebbie,
I am loving the one with the wolf cutout and charcoal handle. What can you tell me about it.

I am not Herbert,

But I can answer your question. In 2002 Buck issued 119SP6 a black dymond wood handle 119 with Wolf cutout, 250 issued.
