Buck 120/110 Cocobolo set

On the big river site (my mistake, it's the big auction site) a pile of 120/110 cocobolo sets are out there now for about what the 120 should sell for. Does anyone know anything about these? Seem legit? Hope so since I already took a chance on a set. Will let the community know when they arrive.

come from sams club. an exclusive there sold for $54.98. if ya have a sams club membership best to buy direct from the source.
 
Wow, what a deal for the Sam's Club guys! That said, for the price I paid I'm still happy. And, good to know they are real.
Can't see how the seller is making any money since he is also paying the shipping.

Does add to the Buck hoard here though :-)
 
Yes, they are still listed at Sams Club. The knife buyer for WalMart used to drop by here once in awhile but has not for a long time. I think he hinted at these a long time ago. My brother in law works at Sam's club, I should ask him to pick me up a set. I never understood the "pay for a membership angle".
 
I just got the set this week and it is sweet. Do a Check as there is another set at a mind blowing value.

120 logo looks weird on that combo. Sent to houser.
 
hey jb--nice set---so both knives have the 2016 date code logo----in the pics on feebay the 120 does not show a date code--I thought that was weird---man what a value---bout 30 bucks each...ha
 
yep...burgandy/brownish sheaths on both. i have 2 sets. maybe one of the best starter packages ever for the price and both mine came no flaws. so no 2nd nonsense or any other conspiracy going on. just a great walmart/sams club buck deal.
 
That’s just ridiculous. I had to pick up a set after seeing this post, and finding out it’s really true! :rolleyes: Will report back when they arrive. I have no doubts they will be the same quality (and with sheaths) as others.
 
Mine came Friday. Fantastic price for the set. Beautiful set. Pure Buck Knives as expected.
Stock up for Christmas folks, at this price you can't go wrong.
Burgundy colored sheaths on each. Beautiful wood handles. Come well packed and no blemishes.
Now for their other set of Compadre froe, knife ,hatchet set . Check it out!!!
 
I'm not a member. It says I "may" need to pay 10% more. Not a big deal, but have any non-Sam members had to pay this?

yep. it does do that. not sure buying a membership is worth it if ya never use sams besides one time. id help out but shipping costs would kill some of the deal and make the ebay seller a better bargin assuming its all legit of course.
