Buck 120 Discontinued

Heard the buck 120 got discontinued some time back. When did they decide to bring it back? And is it back for good?
 
wasn't aware it had ever been dropped, since it has always been one of the top 4 or 5 sellers of the 100 series.

The 120 was a regular catalog item thru 2001 and then took a 10 year hiatus until 2011 when it was reintroduced as a Boone & Crockett edition. It has again been in the catalog continuously since then. Now, having said that, not in the regular Buck catalog does not mean it was not being produced, during that 10 year period between 2001 and 2011 it was available thru Cabela's and there were a few special editions.

It was the 120 I read somewhere in a reddit post. But couldn't find any info on when it was brought back. Didn't realize cabelas was selling it

They were kinda hard to get a line on back 10 years ago or so but they were either quick to go or to high price for me. Now I wish I would have got one of the sfo models when I had a chance but I did get one last year from the Buck factory store like I wanted.
 
Nice . 120 you will probably get 2020 date code blades. Pretty cool.

Never occurred to me before to match the model with the year. Until now. That would have been a neat collection.
