Hey there! I’m new to the neighborhood.
However, I’m not new to knives, but I don’t know nearly as much as I would like. Case in point- back in the summer of ‘21, I picked up this limited edition 120 from Buck, and it was a find!
Such a limited run, that only 55 were made. Buckeye Burlwood handle, 5160 blade, and brass.
But since it was so limited and sold out in less than an hour, the entire history of the blade disappeared with the last one sold. So, might anyone have any thoughts, or knowledge on this piece?

Thanks so much! I should have been here years ago. I appreciate the info on the 120. I wasn’t sure what info I was exactly looking for, but I did want to find what Buck was saying about the reasoning behind the knife, why so few, and what have you. And yes, it is a gorgeous build

I would include a pic, but don’t see how to do so… 🤭

Buck is famous for limited runs.. some just a handful. Many are made to use up old inventory they come across especially if they don't have enough for a regular run. Buck never wasted parts (overrun blades handle materials) and I personally believe when they have saved up enough odd bits they make a batch to keep employees busy in slack times..
