Buck 120 purpose?

I can't say what the designers had in mind.
But, for me, I use it whenever I need a blade with an extra reach. Like poking stuff outta a camp fire or bbq.
It's also a great conversation starter when sheeple see that pup hanging off the belt...or when ya get pulled over by Five-0.
The conversation usually starts with them asking "Why do you carry that knife?". And my response is "Because they won't let me carry a gun".

And my response is "Because they won't let me carry a gun".)i carry a big knife for the same reason hahaha.When im in the forest my single-shot shot gun is not sufficient if im attack by a bear and i miss my shot i will try to defend myself with my 7 1/2 blade...its probably better than nothing

I find mine most suited for general applications.
Okay, my BR version joined the similar style 102, 103, 105, and 119. It looks too neat to use. The only duplicate I have of the five is a 119, now finding use in the kitchen, and the 120 'Pro Line' actually destined for the next turkey...

Nah! Except for the Mikov & the letter opener, they've all been on this forum. After all, they're all Bucks!
The 120s are the two way at the back, behind the 119 and the 124. They anchor the accumulation nicely.
