Buck 120 purpose?

I can't say what the designers had in mind.
But, for me, I use it whenever I need a blade with an extra reach. Like poking stuff outta a camp fire or bbq.

It's also a great conversation starter when sheeple see that pup hanging off the belt...or when ya get pulled over by Five-0.
The conversation usually starts with them asking "Why do you carry that knife?". And my response is "Because they won't let me carry a gun".

.

hahaha ("Why do you carry that knife?". And my response is "Because they won't let me carry a gun".)i carry a big knife for the same reason hahaha. When im in the forest my single-shot shot gun is not sufficient if im attack by a bear and i miss my shot i will try to defend myself with my 7 1/2 blade...its probably better than nothing:)

I find mine most suited for general applications.

Okay, my BR version joined the similar style 102, 103, 105, and 119. It looks too neat to use. The only duplicate I have of the five is a 119, now finding use in the kitchen, and the 120 'Pro Line' actually destined for the next turkey...

Nice knives trax...you been hold'n out on us:D

Nah! Except for the Mikov & the letter opener, they've all been on this forum. After all, they're all Bucks! :D

The 120s are the two way at the back, behind the 119 and the 124. They anchor the accumulation nicely. :)

Sorry to derail the thread... but what's that big-a$$ folder right smack in the middle?

Lemme look...I forgot...It's a 446C...
