I found this in a nearby antique store this weekend:
A Buck 121 with four Micarta spacers, the sheath has two rivets and is stamped 121. It's barely used, and if it has ever been sharpened it was done very well. I think it dates from roughly '72 thru 79 making it a Fisherman (I'm happy to be corrected on this). The blade mics .077" at the tang.
I've collected Buck knives for 50 years, but somehow this model got by me, this is my first 121. In looking around here my new knife is the most common variant of a knife that has many variations.
It's not often I'm surprised by and older Buck, but this was a knife I had forgotten even existed.
Once again I'm reminded that I don't know every stinkin' thing!
