Buck 121 & Akonua

Can someone out there please post a pic of a Buck 121 and an Akonua
side by side. Thanks

Just happened to have been playing around with some. There is a 408 also, and a couple a three 105's stuck in there.

I really like the 402 Akonua for field dressing use of game up to 400lbs.. It also lends itself toward a sound survival tool far better than the 121. The two were built w/ very different purposes in mind. For boning or filleting I'd give the 121 the nod. DM
 
Odly enough, those two are the only two fixed blade bucks I own. The Akonua has been a real headache for me to sharpen but I'm sure I'll get it there soon enough.

Jason, My brother married a girl from Trinidad. So, we travel there often visiting them. Some of those Akonua's have a thicker edge, espically the older ones. Try a steeper angle w/ the knife on a diamond stone should help. If your using a device holder w/ set angles try the 19 or 20 degree. Whats the stamping on the blade. Those are nice knives. DM
