yes Sir. ill bet its got a whole lot of stories ya could talk about on it. i can tell its done lots of work and didn't live on a shelf, but still got lots of life in it left. like that sheath too.....got some western style to it.JMonkey there is no telling how many deer and Turkey I cleaned with that Buck 121 .
Thanks for your picture of your Buck 121 at work on a Turkey . Nice knife you got there. HawkHawk, glad you found it, looks well used and well loved. I have used my Buck 121 for both cleaning fish and for breasting turkeys for years also - great knife for both purposes. I do prefer the older versions (like ours) for the thinner blade stock. Top picture an early 1980's (thicker blade), bottom picture a 1972 tip-down with thinner blade. OH

I havent had wild Turkey, I hear mixed reviews on flavor. Maybe its regional as well.Hawk, glad you found it, looks well used and well loved. It tastes just like turkey. flavor can be affected by diet some, but all I've had tastes like turkey. It can be much tougher though.I havent had wild Turkey, I hear mixed reviews on flavor. Maybe its regional as well.
