Buck 121 Date?

Hi y’all. Have a question on this 121. Dating seems to be extra confusing for these Fisherman blades. My thought is the booklet that comes with may help too (pictured). The mark only says “Buck” with a single dot to the right.

From what I have gathered, this knife seems to be the “rare” 67 year Fisherman in which they switched from forged to fine blanks?

Does this track? I am seeing pricing around $200-225 but I have not been able to find one in this condition (it has not been used and was stored in sheath/in box). It was a gift and the exterior box does have writing on it but otherwise like-new (sheath never worn).

Any help would be appreciated.

A more definitive way to tell if it was a 64-67 vs 67-72 would be the thickness of the blade.

That's a wonderful gift to receive. I always give the 100 series knives that have a BUCK * stamp a 1967 date.

That is a 66/67. The 64,65/66 would have had more of a sawtooth scaler and a horizontal BUCK. The 67-72 are considerably thicker at the spine.
