I think you have to many of these! Your going to have to mail at least two to me! They look identical to a 124 except the one without pins in the handle.

The one with no pins is a 1967 phenolic handle 124
The 122 / 124 is the one with serreated blade.
A 122 has a phenolic handle.

home computer where most of my pictures are and cannot

Very nice bunch! The stag handle looks smaller than rest! What is the stamping on the blade next to it?

1 Stag is 2006 124 LE,I wish it was slabbed instead of grinding the tang down

howdy EEE,
i am confused on the 122/124 lanyard hole and striations... you said 72
i have that knife and i bought it in 71 not 72 at a navy PX and was told it had been there a while
i bought it in Sept/Oct or Nov of 71 at great lakes ntc.
wander if AL made knives available to navy ahead of time...
the sheath for the 122/124 was like a scuba pro if i remember correctly but could have been us divers
the one i was suppose to get had damage and i was given the leather one
and was to pick got the other when it came in but... well you know navy way ... and away
any way i have a collection of images i am collecting of buck knives and i was wandering if you don't mind and have time that you could send me some images of your 124 collection singly or in pairs with date and comments
