Shop here has the 137's Steelmasters still sitting in the case, headed there to pick one up today if possible.

I see one is on sle-bay now for a fair price and there is one one gunbroker for $94 (no bids!).

I checked it out last time I was there but will add it to the accumulation pile so long as it's complete and not wildly priced.

Steve,

I paid $25 NIB about 2 years ago. The box has $15 written on it. $95 is insane for that.

I also have one in new condition but no sheath or box. Its yours if you want it...call it the bonus plan for purchasing three things from me. Just send me a PM if you want it. g

Flat,I agree. Back in 2005 I paid 30$ for a 137 NIB w/ old English script lettering (not block) and sheath, papers and all plus shipping. But they are hard to find. Also, check to see the script lettering are from early to mid 1970's.The block could be 80's.Then look at the end.If its got a wedge at the tip later ones are flat/square.That was used to open up the breast plate on deer.Just cut a limb/club and mallet it thru. No need to use your knife for this.DM

Flat,
Appreciate the offer, good of you! However, I picked up both that they had today for $10 each, NIB with papers and sheath.

Figured I would use one a bit for my own knowledge and set the other one back.

I scanned their shelves hard to see if there were any other older style brown boxes in the stack but this pair was it.
