Buck 160 info?

I was wondering if any of you heard of a satin finished version of the Buck 860 Hartsook neck knife, called the 160? Being a fan of the Buck 860, I purchased the 160 the second I saw it on the shelf at one of my favorite knife stores. It looks to be identical to the 860, except it has a satin finish, doesn't have the steel type on it (I would guess it's 420HC), and comes with a gray sheath and a really cool sheath clip that doubles as a bottle opener. I paid $18 for it, so it's a tad cheaper than the 860.

Does anybody have any info on this knife? Buck's website doesn't show it, and I wasn't able to find any information about it on the internet. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I can't post any pictures from where I'm at, but the tang-stamp looks like an upward facing arrow, kind of like this /|\ . The word "Buck" is in a is in sort of a rectangle with what looks like an anvil above it. I don't have the box with me, but I'll get you the box code.

Thanks,
3G

The box code say's it's catalog number 3167, and the knife is apparently called the "Smidgen." Does that help any?

Thanks, MWallace, that's the one! I was hoping Buck had more info on it, like about the sheath clip for starters. I know it can be used as a bottle opener, but I'm trying to figure out what the little holes are for.

One would think that Buck would at least try to advertise this knife, or at least offer some info on it, since they're making and selling it.

Where is this knife being sold??? I wouldn't mind having one... :)

I can just see the scene at Wal-Mart...

"Hi! I'd like a Buck 160 Smidgeon!"

"Huh???"

"You know; the satin stainless version of the Hartsook neck knife."

"Huh???"

"It's the Model 160, Catalog Number 3167."

"Huh???"

"Buck knives...Those sharp things...there in the case..."

"Huh???"

"It's 2008, you know..."

"Huh???"

......
