Buck 180 DB crosslock, same year different parts?

Gentlemen!

I have a question for the Buck Experts!

There are two links to Ebay listings; both for them for a 180 Double Blade Crosslock knife, both of them from 1994 (according to the Date mark) but they have different pocket clips and different type of screw for a pivot point? Does anybody know why? One is a prototype?

All Crosslocks have the same year mark. It was never changed!

I checked out both auctions. The one with the solid belt clip is the older one.
