What can anyone tell me about the new 182C I am about to receive? It has ATS-34 and if I'm not mistaken CF scales. I have several 181s. Is the only difference the CF scales? Any help would be appreciated.... ~baba~

I have one 181 Odyssey and three 182 Odysseys.
I carry a 182 everyday, along with 1 or 2 other knives.
The 182 has beautiful CF scales and ATS-34, as you said.
Two differences between the 182 and the 181: (1) the 182 blade has a swedge, while the 181 doesn't and (2) the 182 uses Torx screws in the handle while the 181 uses rivets.
Other than that everything is the same: same liners and dual bronze washers.
Of course the 182, with it's carbon-fiber scales, has a very stiff handle while the 181, with thermoplastic scales, will flex.
And that's it.
Odyssey 181 = pretty good knife.
Odyssey 182 = great knife.

Your Awsome! Thanks for the response... I am expecting it to arrive in the mail Wednesday. What should I have paid for it? I gave $36.00 for New in box. I gotta believe that is pretty good, I think???? Again thanks!!! ~baba~
