Buck 183 Alpha Crosslock PBS (Portable Butcher Shop)!

Anyone like these?

The saw and gut hook makes this the "Portable Butcher Shop."

Anodized aluminum, Gun Metal Grey Handle Material. Black nylon case. 3" 420HC Blade only weights 4oz:thumbup: This low weight makes it attractive to me.

Not really, but then I'm not a hunter. If I carry any of the crosslock models it is one of these two. I find the second, serrated blade more useful for day to day than the guthook/saw blade.

I might carry one in the truck as a utility knife, if someone gave me one. Can't ever see me ever using one in my deer doins unless a last resort.

I didnt care one way or the other until I handled my neighbors AG with the s30v-it was much more solid and comfortable
to handle than pictures promise. I keep hoping to pick up an AG cheap on the bay-they dont show up much.

I have the older version with the polymer frame. I really like mine. It has a pocket clip so I always have it for sawing through the pelvis, and it is a little work, but its slick.

I have the Alaskan Guide version with s30v and have used it on numerous deer, compact package with all you need for deer size game.
