Buck 184 refurb.

If you are talking about having the coating restored, I have never heard of it. It can be removed. I am sure someone with more knowledge of the coating will come along and help.
 
No, buck takes this in and cleans them up for a small fee. Wondering if there is a specific point of contact inside buck for that.
 
First call buck and tell them what you want done to the knife and get the pricing. Also write it down and include it with the knife. Send the knife with Attention: Joe Houser. I looked for the address and phone number in old threads but cannot find it. Hope someone reads this and puts it here for you. You will be more than satisfied with their work on your knife.
 
Buck will not do the Black oxide finish, they will only do the standard bead blast finish, at least that is what I have been told!
