Hi.
I recently bought this knife off Ebay and it did not include the large pouch with sharpening stone nor the accessories inside the handle. I was wondering if anybody knows where I could purchase this. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

HI Issac,

You might want to check at the Buck Forum in the Makers/Mfc's section. May be they have an extra laying around.

Barring that your best bet is to keep checking Ebay, and run an add in our classfied section.

HTH:D:).

Hi. I have one of those awesome knives too! How much did you pay for yours? What condition is yours in? Mine is NIB, pristine, and was actually issued to a SEAL!!! Are you just keeping it for display, or you gonna use it?

Anyway, to answer your question:

There is a built-in sharpening stone on the back of the sheath. There is a nylon flap covering it, secured with a button snap. As far as I know, there is no other stone included. Mine had a compass in the small pouch.

Most of the knives I've seen on ebay only have one pouch, if that. It's quite rare to see one with both, and I think that the larger pouch actually wasn't included with the knife originally. (Not positive about this, though.)

I have only seen one or two knives that still have the stuff from inside the handle. It was simple stuff like matches, fishing line and hooks, etc. Stuff you could assemble yourself.

Remember that the knife has been out of production for about 10 years, so it is very unlikely that Buck will have any accessories or parts remaining for the knife. Your best bet would be to keep looking on ebay.

Good luck!

Sweet, Thanks drjones. I do not think I would have ever found that sharpening stone on the backside of the sheath. :D

I bought the knife on Ebay for $180. Its brand new never used and in perfect condition. I bought the knife to be used as my hiking/camping knife but when I received it, I found that it was very heavy. So now, I am thinking of buying another survival knife and just put this one in my collection.

Well, I will post in the Makers/Mfc's section and see if maybe they can help me find the large pouch as well. Thanks for your help.

Glad I could help! Yeah, if I was you, I might just keep that for collection. Like I said, it's out of production. Maybe get another one that's already been used to have as a user knife? Either that, or get a Strider! I just did, and its even tougher than the buck!!!

Good luck!
