Buck 185<

An old timer I work with picked this up from the hardware store he worked at in late 1987 here in MA. It's amazing.

Over all I'd call it very good lightly used condition with some blemishes

Anyhow. Wanted to share.

What is a wise price to list it for in this condition? 1986 build.

Couple straps, no box or extras.

Sheath functions perfect too.

I am not familiar with this knife so probably shouldn't be posting. But looking at the bay I would guess a lot more than he offered it to you for. (Of course what people ask on the bay can be a lot different than what it sells for.)

Model 185 BuckMaster LT. Same blade as the 184 BuckMaster but with a skeletonized rubber coated handle. 6,000 of these were made from 1986-1989.

If any have sold on Ebay you can check the price it sold for on completed sales. First search for Buck 185. then click advanced search. Look for sold items, check that box, then click search at the bottom of the page. HTH

2 have sold on a custom knife site in Arizona.
One in 2020 for $495.
Another in 8/2024 for $595.

But they probably had all the paperwork and box.

I think that's high end for a knife they made 6,000 of.
But there's lots of people with more money than sense.
