Thanks for sharing your new 185. That is a very nice knife and we don't get to see many of those.

Here is a copy of a one of the 185 patent drawing's I have from some of Harry Camphuysen's(of PHROBIS) origonal documents
given to me. The one below show's how the anchors could be attached to the 185 also.

interesting drawing. i always wondered if buck considered the anchors for the 185. it's obviously a much stronger knife (structurally speaking) than the 184. odd they didn't make more of them.
 
Here is the other Patent Page. From what the PHROBIS guys say and the document's I have read the SEAL's
and other Special OP's warriors LOVED this variation of BuckMaster. In my book I have a few chapters just on this Model 185.
I will reveal the origonal name of the Model 185 knife then...
