I picked up the Odyssey at Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago and has been a great EDC knife. I have been carrying the Odyssey in place of the usual Kershaw Blackout and I have grown to prefer the Odyssey. Smooth opening, with a sleek hole instead of the thumbstud, means no more callous on that corner of my thumb. No more drawing of a crowd as with the assisted Kershaw either.

The knife is a perfect fit for the pocket. The clip holds securely, yet does not abrade your pants. The plastic handle feels solid and secure, not cheap, while the pointy blade shape is perfect for delicate duties. Smooth, quick, deployment is easy. The knife is also suitable for the "brownie pop". The liner locks up perfectly, with the rightmost edge of the liner just touching the center line of the "tang". The large front choil is perfect for choking up for fine works. The 420HCS steel performs just as well, if not better than the 440A from the Kershaw. Suitable for EDC chores, a quick touch up is all that is needed to resume shaving sharp status.

A few negatives:
- No Lanyard Hole
- Slight blade play in closed position: The (near) tip of the blade can be moved to touch the left side liner. When the blade is opened, it scrapes against the liner, due to pressure applied to grip the thumbhole.
- When choking up on the choil and gripping hard, the liner has a tendency to disengage. The blade's choil saved me from injury those couple of times.

They are great knives, and if you look around there are still variations around. Your blade is loose. I sent mine in to have it taken care of. Enjoy.
