Buck 186 on the Wicked Edge sharpener (big pictures !)

Just sharpened my old Buck 186 to 30 degrees inclusive on the Wicked Edge sharpener.
Because i don't have the ultrafine stones or the diamond stropping compound, i used wet & dry paper up to 2000 grit after which some cheap stropping compound on two pieces of cardboard.
Works just fine,

The hair was stolen from my girlfriend.

(Yes i know the pictures are quite big, it's on purpose)

wow it is nice to see some one else uses wet/dry to 2000!
i learned to do that on plane blades and applied it to knife edges..
not as good as once was at it..but get the job done if i have time
wife did not like all the bare patches on the arm from testing....
