hey guys I'm new here but I have a question. Do any of you guys have the Buck 192 custom "TRACKS" knives? it's a set of four blades with a boar, couger, grizzly bear and a wolf on them with stag handles?

The ones with the laser cutout footprint in the blade and the pewter head in the end of the handle?
Nope sorry... they are neat though!!!

I have a set and I'm looking for a aproximate value. do you know anything about them. the set I have is new and still in the boxes with all the paperwork.

Now it all came full circle :D

I thought I just saw that set somewhere :)

Value is always tough to determine. It depends who wants the full set and how high they are willing to go. If they are all MIB it helps. I know they were top dollar knives but from what I have seen sell, I would guess 100-150 each.
That crown stag and the pewter in the end, I guess is maybe a turn off for some people? Also time of year and the economy seem to make BIG changes in values... There are 2008 Knives online that are currently selling for alot less than you can buy them for from a wholesaler... wait until right before xmas though and its usually a different story. Best of luck!

Heres a prime example... The one with the crushed box sold for over double the price? Its something that is hard to explain...

thanks, I paid 145.00 a piece for the knives about 10 years ago I figured they would be worth a little more now.

Yes, I would definately believe that! They may well be, BUT you will have to find a buyer willing to pay double that... The last ones that sold a few months back were just ver 100.00 If I recall correctly...

Just like the links I provided in the previous post. Why are they worth LESS now than 15 years ago???? The nature of the beast I guess :)

I have a whole collection of stag folders and fixed blades that I'm planning on selling but I'm not sure of the knives current value. I've sold several 110 stags and damascus 110 and 112 and they've brought top dollar but the fixed blade seem to be low. this doesn't make sense to me because most of the fixed blade stags I've got are either LE or they are no longer available.

110's and Damascus 112's are very rare and highly collectible!
Almost every Buck collector has a 110 ;)

It doesn't make sense to alot of us, I do know however that 110's are alot more collectible than 192's. LE or not...
Also the 110's and 112's you listed may be discontinued also. Damascus/stag 112's/110's are alot rarer than those 192's probably 10 to 1?

I collect Ionfusion knives, I have and can buy them occassionally for what they sold for 10 years ago. Thats just the way it goes.

I would say keep the 192's if they mean that much. If not get ready to go low ;)

Hi Mako314,

I agree with Jim (WH4F). The price on knives; seems to change with the wind...if a few collectors are after the same knife then they will bid the price up...if not a knife may not bring in what you hope for. The current time of year and the current state of the economy may also have an impact on any collectable's....flip a coin.
