So it showed up today, and long story short I love it. It's gorgeous, feels great in hand, and other than finding it annoying to try to photograph a mirror-polished blade with my cell phone on a sunny day, I don't have a nit to pick with it, at least not yet.

Here she is:

For MT_Pokt MT_Pokt , as you can see, the break between the layers is uneven on mine as well, favoring a neater looking show side like yours does.

Color me very, very impressed on first impression. The multiple-material handle is beautiful and comfortable in hand too. The mirror polished blade looks great, and the slightly rounded spine is very pleasing as well.

Love it. :)

Man.......... Those Yellow Jackets are nice! The stock photos on websites do not do it justice. These do.

I broke down and returned mine. I ended up with the one on the bay you all might have seen.
I was definitely going to have one of these. I dig everything about it. Yep... it's going fishing with me this weekend if the weather is cooperative.
I'm much happier with this one. I just need to go cut something with it now...lol

Is yours a user or a shower Greg?

I'm glad you found one you're happier with. Mine is wildly asymmetrical, with the transition between the 154 CM and S90V ending a half inch before the tip on the back side, but it doesn't rustle my jimmies, so I'd say we both ended up happy.

Despite the fact that I think it's the prettiest fixed blade I own, user all the way. :)
