No, not a member. I should check it out though.
Thanks.
If you call Buck Knives, they'll mail one out to you when it becomes available.
When you think about it, what kind of business would keep a product catalog away from a potential customer? It's just that BCCI members essentially subscribe to them.
I bought a Buck 110 back in 1973,after I got out of the Army. That knife got used hard for over 25 years, until there was almost no blade left to sharpen. It finally broke when I was using it to pry up tile. After that I went on to other brands.Fast forward to 2010,and I bought a Buck Vantage Avid.Wow what a great blade! MADE IN THE USA. Can hardly wait to get the Paradigm. I'm back Buck!!!
the new ones are nice!
but i am a old time 110 type of guy![]()
On the other hand, the new red and green 110's with the paper mache handles don't interest me in the least.
paper-mâché, is a construction material that consists of pieces of paper, sometimes reinforced with textiles, stuck together using a wet paste (e.g., glue, starch, or wallpaper adhesive). The crafted object becomes solid when the paste dries.
PaperStone becomes a composite product when specially-produced sheets of paper are saturated with the company's proprietary resins and pressed under heat and pressure. This cross-links the resin polymer in all three dimensions producing a dense, homogeneous and essentially non-porous composite product that doesn't delaminate.
LOL. OK, so it's high-tech paper mache.![]()
