Buck 2016 Catalog and BCCI March Newsletter arrived

Haven't gotten to the newsletter yet but the catalog, (actually is a catalog with glossy pages and everything) is really nice. One item I haven't seen mentioned yet is in the Legacy section. It's a memorial Duke 500 for Chuck with his signature. Stainless steel bolsters with mother of pearl scales and 440c blade with leather pouch. I like it and I'd say it's a fitting tribute/memorial piece for Chuck. More later as I wade through the goodness. Thank you to all at the BCCI and BKI.

I just checked and the memorial Duke is listed on the KC website so perhaps it has been posted about before. Oh well, mentioning it again can't be a bad thing.

Guys, when you put together a stainless frame folder, 440C blade and mother of pearl handles, all polished...? That's in the realm of what a custom knife maker does. Go email D' Holder or Bob Dozier and get a quote on the same knife from them. DM

I couldn't find anywhere on their website to order a catalog. Got a link?
 
The Dealer catalog is one of the cherished perks of BCCI membership. Please don't let this get around, I am probably the most private person ever, but the Buck Collector Club is the one and only club of any kind that I have ever joined in my entire life and it has been wonderful. And it is only getting better. The 30th moot takes place soon so don't fail to put this on your bucket list. You've posted to this forum so I already know you want to attend. It is like falling into deep deep clover. Yes it is. I kid you not.

Agreed. It's not a regular production model so I don't see the price as being out of line.
