Has anyone used a Buck 271 Alpha Dorado ? It has a BOS heat treated 154CM blade and a, I think, nice looking rosewood handle, but I'm not sure what kind of quality to expect from a more tactical, one handed Buck at this price point. Lock up, fit and finish, etc. If anyone has some use and some thoughts on the knife, I'd appreciate hearing them. Pics, as well, are always a good thing.

Edit: My titles always have typos :(

Every Buck Folder that I have ever tried, and that's a bunch, have been worth more than the price by a good bit. I never hesitate to drop a little money on any Buck Knife.

I've had that very knife in my EDC rotation for about eight months now. Solid little knife. Edge retention has been great...it just now is in need of a light touch up. A little bulky for my front pocket but carries well in my back pocket with a lanyard. The belt sheath it comes with is well made and secure.
My only complaint has been with the lockup. The lock bar position is not consistant. The blade fit on the pivot pin feels loose. The blade will move fore and aft on the pin prior to lock up. I'm contemplating sending it back to Buck for a little tune up.

Other than that I'm completely satisfied. I'd buy it again.
