I don't really like the look of the grind but it's sharp and good working. It is surely sturdy with the three spring solution and fairly thick blades for a medium stockman I've heard that it is a 2000 edge. Is that connected to the hollow grind? Does my Pathfinder have the same grind?

The Edge 2000 and the hollow grind are two separate things.

OH, I bought last year. Becoming my favorite outdoors knife in competition with my 112 Ranger and Mora 2000.

Yes, Buck changed that models grind from a full flat grind to a modified flat grind. DM
