Here is a Buck 301 Stockman out of my collection. How old is it and what would the value be? Thank You! Kevin

That looks more like a 1st Version 301 Stockman contract knife by Schrade (1966-1967).

Yes, that model was before model numbers for that series. It is a first model of that series a 301. DM

Does it have any value? I have the box with papers too. It has been hard to find out much info on it. I did remember reading somewhere that they said the first one was made by Camillus because it had the grooved bolsters but never could find where I read that again. If anyone can but a price tag on it please let me know. Thank You! Kevin

bert, had it for you. A Schrade, contract knife. I don't know a lot about those. I'll acquiescence to him. DM

Your knife is worth about $175.00. You have a great knife in great condition. One just sold for that amount lately.

Great old Schrade contract knife with an even rarer box. Sweet.....
