Buck 302 Solitaire

I like it a lot, it's rather unusual being a single-blade in the Stockman frame. I got this 3 or 4 Christmases back for a bargain price and it's a knife I'd always want to keep. Some time before this, I was given a yellow delrin one as a present by a forum member but it got lost on a day trip. Bitterly regret that and they are no longer obtainable....

the 302 has alot going for it.nice and slim for pocket carry, you can take it out and use it anywhere without raising any eyebrows.
I like Bucks 420HC.Easy to sharpen. And I think the pull is just right. The price is easy on the wallet, always available.

I picked up a new Chairman Series 302 last week. Very nice fit and finish. I am more impressed than I thought I would be. And I love red.

Made in America!

I recently got a Solitaire with saw cut zytel scales. Good knife. I just checked and Knifecenter still has both handle materials in stock for the Solitaire.

I actually have a saw it Delrin 302 in my pocket right now. It's great. Slim, light, slices like a demon.

I hate how much wasted space there is at the end of the frame. The blade is about 3/8" or so too short for this frame but all in all I still like it, and like how good this thing is for weather resistance. Stainless with Delrin is hard to beat. Next I'm going to get a brass and rosewood one for a more traditional look.

I bought one of the 50 prototypes they made before they went to production, so mine was actually made by the Buck Custom shop. The blade is stamped "301". I'm not really a single blade kind of guy, but if I were it would get a lot of carry. Obviously, having been made by their Custom shop, it is flawless.
