Hey guys, anyone else like the 303s? I have one and absolutely LOVE it!! I like pocket knives, but don't like to carry ANYTHING in my pockets. The feel of anything bulky aggravates the crap out of me. It drives me up a wall. However, the 303 Cadet rides BEAUTIFULLY in my pocket. Heck, I don't even feel it. Nice little stockman. Plus, I love the three back spring design. I'm not sure if the other Buck stockmans have it, but I think it's a step up from the three blade/two spring design. No crinking of the blades. It walks, it talks, and it cuts anything I want it to. Who else loves these little guys?

Pretty much a daily carry for me. I also think it is a great design. Sharp, too.

Can't beat it.

I have carried one for around five years. I also like the straight sharp blades. Other things I admire in the design are the bolsters and liners are formed together, which seems to increase strength over similar sized more traditional stockman designs, and the black handles that are easy to maintain. While some may disagree, I consider the 303, and its big brother the 301, to be the final development of the stockman pattern (the only real change in the stockman design in the second half of the twentieth century). Still a great value in an American made slipjoint-made for using too!

For a number of years I have focused much of my Buck collecting on the 303 Cadet. I have them in many different handle configurations both from the older, 2-spring models, the newer 3 spring, custom and factory made.

My search for new additions of this model continue.

Obviously one of my favorites. Great little pocket knife.
