Buck 309 Idaho?

I have a 309 that may have belonged to my grandfather. It has the outline of the state of Idaho at the base of the small blade. Does anyone know what that means or why? I don't see anything on the small blades on the pics I see online.

The Idaho stamp was used as the date stamp for 2005.

I suspect that the 309 has the Idaho stamp on a blade by itself because the blades are so tiny. To put Buck/309/USA and the Idaho mark on the same tiny tang would really crowd it.
