I didn't either, although I had them, so don't know why I didn't know. Since there seems to be quite a few, I made a list to see if I am missing any.Wow! I didn’t know that there were that many Buck mini trappers.
I thought those numbers were just the serial numbers. Both of mine have numbers there. So are there two numbers for the one's that include the life member number? I also was wondering about the Charcoal Dymondwood. I did see that. But the blue fibron looks like Charcoal Dymondwood and I thought people just assumed. There is nothing blue about blue fibron that I can see. Do you have a part number? There is a third variation of the ABCA 312 that has the life member number etched on the bolster, but that might not be one you're looking for. Also, there is 1994 PRCA charcoal wood Dymondwood.

Yes, but I'll have to dig the box out and that's no easy task. It probably won't be today.Do you have a part number?
Unfortunately, the part # for both the standard prca and the blue fibron one is the same, 312PR. The blue fibron is in the 1995 catalog. I don't see reference to Charcoal anywhere.Yes, but I'll have to dig the box out and that's no easy task. It probably won't be today.

Ok.There were 2 variations of the Yellowhorse 312. The first batch was mistakenly inlaid on both sides then later only one side. I have a 1996 312 with a "RMC St. Lawrence Plant" blade etch. That would be Reynolds Metal Company.
I added the Charcoal one on the list but I'm not sure about it. I would like to know what the handle material was. And for the ABCA one, is it possible that they are all serialized but the life members have an addition "L"? I see 300Bucks was mentioning something about that.Yes, but I'll have to dig the box out and that's no easy task. It probably won't be today.

I just checked the ones I have and they all have different numbers!!Ok.

Did the ones that had no numbers also have no etching on the blade?I just checked the ones I have and they all have different numbers!!
I recall seeing a few that had no numbers.
Don’t know about Life(????) members.

I honestly don’t remember.Did the ones that had no numbers also have no etching on the blade?
Well, it says they made 1500. I doubt if they had exactly 1500 members. Perhaps the first 1500 members got in. Perhaps they made some without numbers to sell to the general public. If I had been a member, I would have preferred no etching on the bolster. At any rate, I added it to the "Other" column. I'm not going to fret and try to get an example of each one. I see some with XXXX, LXXXX, and no numbers on the bolsters. But the only case where I see no numbers also has no etching on the blade.I honestly don’t remember.![]()
If there is an "L" before the number on the bolster, it indicates a life member numberI thought those numbers were just the serial numbers. Both of mine have numbers there.
Yup. I made that correction. If there is an "L" before the number on the bolster, it indicates a life member number
