Generically I would say they are getting a little less common but not rare. They were cataloged thru most of the 1990's. Some variations can be rare though. Black delrin being most common followed by brown jigged bone. Rarer variations may exist in yellow delrin, ironwood, and blue something (?).

jd,

The 312 Mini-Trapper was made from 1991 to 1999 in the Buck factory. Several different scale types were offered by Buck and one by David Yellowhorse. DeSoto, I don't believe I have seen one in sawcut yellow. Maybe your thinking of 329. (Side note, almost all yellow sawcut Buck slipjoints were special ordered for Smokey Mountain Knife Works and were not sold in Buck catalogs). Several commerative presentation sets were made also. Here is mental listing:
Black Sawcut with brass spring rivet and SS spring rivet
Jigged Bone
Ebony
Blue Bone (several blade printing variations)
Black Sawcut with PRCA printing on blade
David Yellowhorse
Presentation sets (some with blade printing, some with scale medallion inserts)

And there may be one or two more oddballs out there I haven't seen. Rare ? (ie valuable), on a high to low scale I would just say low medium.

300Bucks (Heres easy pics of some blue bones and others)

Some of the Blue Bones have serial numbers. Some have a L before number some just number.Note one on right with engraving.

Very nice pictures, thanks for chiming in. You were right, I checked my drawer and it was a 329 Trapper in yellow and it was smooth, not sawcut.
