Buck 314 Trapper Blades

I wish to know if Buck made the blades for the 314 trapper (and BOS treatment) or did Camillus make them? I believe the blades carry a X mark which is 1990. Thank you kindly, Bryan
 
Buck discontinued the Camillus made 311 Slim Trapper when Buck's own 312 and 314 Trappers were introduced. Camillus contract knives never had date codes, even ones made well into the 90's.
 
To assist Desoto , since 314's were Buck made they were Bos treated. There is some debate that a few Camillus contract blades were heat treated by Buck. I personally have no knowledge in that area. As a rough and ready answer as stated by Desoto, if its got a date code on the tang its all Buck. If it doesn't then the bigger chance is it isn't Bos treated. Waiting for a couple of folks to get the Camillus situation worked out. 300
