No pictures, sorry, I can't get them to link using my phone.
I decided I wanted to try a canoe pattern, and not spend a lot of money.
The Buck 389 I ordered and have been using as a co-EDC with a Buck 110 for the last couple weeks is a great knife.
My example came sharp, no blade rub, and the blades are reasonably centered. There are no gaps between scales, bolsters, liners, and the springs. The main blade is a spear point, secondary is a pen blade.
Blades are a brushed finish, which I prefer over high polish or mirror polish, both of which show EVERY smudge and fingerprint. I'm not sure what stainless steel was used for the blades, but it seems to be of good quality. Since the knife, made in China, still carries Buck's Forever Warrantee, it can't be crap steel, right?
If you want a good, no nonsense, nonthreatening to sheeple traditional knife for EDC, give the Buck 389 Canoe a try. You will not be sorry you did.
