Buck 4 blade

They "made" a congress pattern, model 322 back in 1995. It was made by Camillus and I believe it was a SMKW exclusive. I don't know of any others right off hand.

Yes, they did. The Congress, its a 4 bladed slip-lock. Those who collect that series have knowledge of it, like 300Bucks. Someone will be along to tell you more about it. DM

Great response everyone. Couple of breeze shooter statements to add... There are a couple of these Smokey Mountain Knife Works special order models and none of them have the model number stamped on the knife....you have to look for it somewhere in a 'collectors source' to find that out. They all have glued on shields. Camillus made the same knife with their logos on the same shields. Also for you detail guys, the bolsters on these later SMKWs speicals are always straight ended, not slanted. i.e. check the 329 trapper. Most all of these were just variations of a knife already made by Camillus that SMKWs could market as a 'special' Buck knife. They saw the Buck factory only when they were individually reboxed from the gang boxes Camillus sent them in.

If someone (not me) wanted to make a neat display to carry to knife shows you could collect all of these Buck SMKWs versions and the Camillus stamped copies, along with their boxes. Then get some copies of the SMKWs catalogs where they offer them and it would make a great display....

I believe whittlers favor these four blade style knives. BSFYI 300

Thanks for the info.. Why 2&2, two pen blades and two sheepsfoot blades? Two of the same? DM
