dont have that knife, but I sometimes carry a 426......Just wondering, does anyone still carry a buck 424 or another discontinued Buck knife?
Yes, sir! I don’t have a 424 (my brother does) but a Buck 704 Maverick rides in my suit coat pocket nearly every Sunday, and I have a couple Buck 532’s on the short list of my daily carry knives that I rotate through. It’s not unheard of to catch me carrying a Buck 307 Wrangler or a 332 Barlow, either. If it’s an old Buck, chances are I’ll love it.Just wondering, does anyone still carry a buck 424 or another discontinued Buck knife?
Cool. Did you find all 23 together as one lot? Are they new or used? With sheaths? I’m pretty sure the 424 was my brother’s first Buck in the 80’s. I chose a 503. We, and Dad, were skeptical of the plastic 424, but it survived a rough and tumble childhood. It sure cleaned a lot of trout. My brother eventually snapped the tip and it was the first time either of us made use of Buck’s Forever Warranty. You know, now that I think about it, it could have been a 422 or 426. I think I remember finger grooves. He still has it - I’ll have to ask him.I bought 23 of them. 424 bucklite?
I was gonna flip them but I doubt the effort would be worth it. I think they are good affordable U.S. made beaters that all came sharp. Some arrived with play, front and back, or side to side. Good knife for a fith pocket
