I know that the 426 came in orange among a few other colors, but is the orange 426 rare/valuable? I have been looking around online but there is not too much info on the orange Buck-lite knives. I have a new olive drab with all the paper work, sheath (which I think is a pretty cool sheath), and box, so I did not want to use it and for some reason I have in my mind that I need an orange knife.

I thought about going the Spyderco route, but I think I would be more happier with another Buck (not that I can afford it right now ).

What is a fair price range for a user-NIB orange 426?

Thanks,
John

Thats about what I thought, but while sitting on the dock of the bay, I did not see any orange and only one or two OD in the 110 and 112 size. I will just have to start watching for them.

Thanks,
John

It has been a while since I have seen any oranges on the bay. Last ones I did see, ran closer to $50.

I gave my granddaughters a 426 and 422 orange back at Christmas, and their mother an od 422. Gave them to them before Christmas so they could use them during our hunting.

The youngest granddaughter actually used hers helping her Dad field dress and quarter up the deer she shot.

The orange ones will start showing up again, now that some one wants one... I have seen them go as high as $70 MIB.... Why, I have no idea... I get most of mine for $25 or less... I did buy three 422s that I had to have for $35 MIB and some prototype for a little more... Some 426s come with 110 blades and you got to like the orange camo sheath that comes with it... It would be hard to lose an orange handle 426 hunting, that's for sure...

Not orange, but a Budlite Black handle...

Some people buy up the orange ones because they prefer them for hunting so they don't get lost. I think the normal quantities were made but the orange ones seem to get used more often so there may not be as many left to buy.

A proto 422???? Armand you got it going on!

Clint, thanks to you and a few other... ... I have some beautiful Bucklite knives... I have some special Salesman samples, Demos and Prototypes too... They will never be as nice as your 112s... You can't do to much to a plastic handle knife... I have some Clear color handles and dark color handles... Some Scrimshaw handles and some etch blades and that about it... No Moose horn, Buffalo horn, Stag, Ivory Tusk, Giraffe Bone, Cow Bone, Any Bone, wood, Rubber and special plastic's... Boy, am I glad I collect 112s, 110s and Fixed blades knives too... :D ...

300bucks, nice orange 422 with that 112 blade and a great price on it... I still don't have one like it... I'm more in to the two piece handles with 3 rivets... But I do buy the one piece handle bucklites when I find them, if I don't have it yet... I do have a few of them now... Can I use your pic?

Now I want to see your other good Bucklite you have.... :D ...
