Has Buck started making these and the other Bucklites again? I just bought one from a gun/knife show and the dealer was convinced that these were in production again. The blade is a 112 blade with the ] mark open towards the 112 number. I am thinking about doing some modification to it to make it thinner, or see if I can find a maker to make a new handle for it.

The best thing about it is that I got it for $14!

I think that is a 2000 model you bought. I'm new to bucks so I could be wrong.

Here is the date chart.

We do still have the 442 in our line but the blade is a drop point, is that what you have? The date code you gave was for 2000 as the previous poster mentioned. Could you possibly be talking about a blue handled 422, not 442?
Take care,

It is one of the older green handles. The blade is stamped with 112 ]

But the box says Edge2000, and it sure cuts like it.
