Buck 501 clipoint? Is there such a thing

Picked up my first lockback 501 and can't believe I didn't pick one up before, I alway like to have a couple of alternatives to a pattern I like so

I'm wondering about picking up a 112 but it's a chunky beast and was wondering if there is or was a 501 model that had a clip blade?

Check out the Buck 55, that is the closest stock item from Buck that I can think of. As an alternative you may see what is being offered in the custom ordering page at Buck. OH

The 112 and the 500 have the same length blade. So if your willing to go with a1/4 longer blade. You might be able to put, or have a modder put, a 112 blade into a 500 frame.

Here are some knives that used to have spear, drop, or leaf blades. I like sharp points, and I don’t do a lot skinning. Neglected to mention that the template for these modifications was the Buck 110 clip blade.View attachment 1656708

The 501 was perfect so they broke the mold. I don't think they will ever alter it.
